Clowning around!

The end of school term, means an end of term performance.

All of the kids went to school dressed as clowns and the whole school put on a 'Circus' performance for family and friends.

Here is my colourful little clown.







Cute hu?!

Unfortunately the principal wouldn't let them use face paint (damn!) and we couldn't find a 'nose' anywhere, so we found bright clothing, colourful tights and a funky yellow clown wig.

Jellybean's first layout for his/her album...



I have used so many sweet products from the latest American Crafts baby series. I have used papers, foam Thickers accents, clear and wooden stamps (introducing, the square frame and the bunny inside - isn't he sweet?!) and a flair badge. I have also used a cute little ceramic heart from Crafty Matters.

OK. You can stand back up again now. *wink*

Meet...

"Jellybean"...



Jellybean is the reason for my lack of mojo.
Jellybean is the reason I have been falling asleep on the lounge extremely early every night.
Jellybean is the reason for me eating ginger nut biscuits so I don't feel like vomiting.
Jellybean is the reason I can't stomach my morning coffee and have had to switch to tea.
Jellybean is the reason I have a smile from ear to ear. :)

We went to our first ultrasound earlier today which is always exciting. I went thinking that I was coming up 12 weeks - this weekend, but it turns out, little Jellybean isn't as big as I thought.

Today I am 9 weeks and 6 days and very excited to have 'met' the new addition to our family.

Hungry anyone?

Since struggling with scrapping a little lately, I have turned to something a little different than paper and glue to keep me out of trouble!

I am really enjoying baking at the moment - for me, that's really quite strange. I do like to cook, but to be honest, I'm just not that good at it, but I am getting better! I am learning to be a little more patient and read the recipe instead of diving straight into it and missing that one important ingredient that binds the whole dish together.

Apart from the tasting at the end, another reason why I'm loving being in the kitchen is it gives me time with the kiddos. I love watching them pour and mix along with me, they love helping so much and I love watching them do it. So, today Madelin and I baked. We made a chocolate brownie slice and a lemon coconut slice. Mmmmm....delish!! Want some?

I can't see it lasting very long in this house! :)

And here's my two terrors sharing a snuggle at the playground yesterday. See, they really can sit next to each other without fighting!!

One lonely layout and thankyou...

Firstly, thank you so much everyone for your comments about my Pa. I really do appreciate it. :)

Back a little while ago, I mentioned that my mojo had disappeared. Unfortunately it hasn't made it's way home yet, so I am struggling to find any inspiration to scrap. There is just too much going on at the moment.

I did manage to scrap one lonely little layout last weekend, when Mardi, Allie and myself got together for a scrap day.
